From Willendorf’s Venus through Renaissance Shakespeare to the present day, Niina Hosiasluoma and Herman Nyby explore the representation of fat people and their place in the  Western self-image in a personal and humorous way.

The performance is not a parody – it is a ritual and a defiant assertion on stage. A fat act of love.
